Special Projects · Fresh Paint Art Fair, Tel Aviv, Israel · 2023
Created specifically for Fresh Paint Art Fair 2023, this large-scale ceramic sculpture draws inspiration from the organic architecture of termite mounds.
The work consists of eight individual ceramic structures, each handbuilt using the traditional coil-building technique and recycled clay. Together, the separate elements form a single sculptural composition, approximately 1.3 meters high and 1.5 meters in diameter.
The project explores the relationship between individual forms and collective structures, drawing on the complex natural constructions created by termites.
Through a gradual process of building and assembling, the work moves between sculpture and architecture, transforming recycled clay into a large-scale, spatial composition.
Presented as part of the fair's Special Projects program, the installation was exhibited within the fairgrounds, beyond the conventional exhibition booth.
